Dr Monica Burger
Dr Monica has a special interest in Dermatology, especially allergic dermatitis and loves helping itchy manimals with safe solutions, and teach often frustrated pet-parents how to best manage and prevent future flare ups and break-outs.
Dr Monica qualified as a Veterinarian with BSc BVSc degrees from the University of Pretoria (Onderstepoort) in 2015.
She completed her compulsory community service year in the south of Gauteng with the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
At the end of 2016, she packed up her house, her spouse and all of her manimals and headed down to the beautiful Cape where she worked as a Veterinarian at Panorama Veterinary Clinic & Specialist Centre from 2017 to mid 2019 after which she joined Bergzicht Animal Hospital in Big Bay.
Manimals Mobile Vet was born out of Dr Monica's passion for a calmer, slower, fear-free consultation where both the client and patient are relaxed, enabling better two-way communication between veterinarian and client to ensure optimal health of the manimal.
